  • DJ Serts

Posted on November 2, 2010 by ethniqe

Music is a huge inspiration of what the Ethniqe brand is and if you've ever been to one of LOL Entertainment's sold out events you've probably seen "DJ Serts" droppin mad beats on stage. Here is a little skinny about the life of this talented DJ...

"I started Dj-ing at a young age with my older brother and a set of mk2 1200's and a Gemini scratch master mixer, a horrible mixer in my opinion. But after a cool minute I quit Dj-ing cause my brother had to focus on school. I went a different route and started skateboarding instead. Long story short - I met a DJ that ended up being my best friend, “Justin Justyle Bocatija” For some reason he knew me as… "Hey you're DJ Serts!" I told him that was a while ago I have no more funds for records? He said, "Oh bro, all u need is a laptop!" so I picked up a Sony VAIO and it started again in 2007.

Since DJ Justyle got me back in rotation, I learned more about commercial hip-hop, R&B and how to move the crowd Dj-ing house parties and events. It was a good feeling! My boy Andrew hit me up and asked if I wanted to start Dj-ing clubs with his promotion team, "Ace of Diamonds Ent." and right off the bat… done deal.

Andrew got me in the club scene and from then on my network grew like crazy. I met a bunch of people. A lot of pretty crazy DJs and a gang of new friends that helped me get to where I am today. I have to say that I’m truly blessed to be where I am today. I actually left Ace of Diamonds and started my own thing and quickly lost interest in promoting. I just wanted to DJ cause that was my passion and soon became the resident DJ at the Mai Tai Bar in Long Beach. A year and some months after I left Mai Tai, I became the resident DJ for Club 740 in Downtown Los Angeles. It was an awesome experience to hear my name on the radio that the club was promoting.

Living Our Legacy Ent aka LOL Entertainment recently picked me up. I have to say that I love where my life is right now. Especially not working a 9 to 5, which I know I should be, but I am working a 9 to 2am ☺ This all all started again cause of my best friend - so shout outs to DJ Justyle. Shout outs also goes to Andrew from Ace of Diamonds, Marky Mark from Mindsex who gave me a spotlight and started me up.

So this is me…“DJ Serts” a quick view of how this part of my life started... now we'll see where it leads".

  • DJ Mike Sincere

Posted on October 21, 2010 by ethniqe

DJ Mike Sincere, an LA native, started spinning records at the early age of 16. His uncle Benny Blanco from Interscope Records & Veronica I. of Geffen Records enrolled him into the Scratch DJ Academy in Los Angeles, CA. Mike Sincere was trained by world class DJ Choc and DJ Hapa; there he learned the basics on how to mix and scratch with just records & a mixer.

Ever since, DJ Mike Sincere has always had it in the back of his mind that his goal in life was to become a DJ. At the age of 18, Mike Sincere finally got his break when he was called to spin for an Adidas commercial. At the time Adidas was filming a commercial with superstars such as: Missy Elliot, The Ting Tings, Russell Simmons, DMC from the group Run DMC, Method Man, Redman, Young Jeezy, Katy Perry, Estelle, Kevin Garnett and David Beckham. Mike Sincere had no idea the magnitude of this opportunity at the time when he took the gig. The stars and staff were impressed by his music selection and decided to book him for future events.

From there DJ Mike Sincere moved into the club scene. Mike Sincere holds residencies at clubs from Hollywood to Orange County and in the Inland Empire. DJ Mike Sincere is a crowd pleaser & a party rocker. One of the most in-demand DJ’s in the game right now. He will get the crowd up and out of their seats with his diverse music selection; running from top 40, club hits, house, 80’s, electro, mash-ups and more. He is a top-class DJ with experience to match. He is already becoming a Superstar DJ known by all the Top Promoters & Club-goers throughout all of Southern California. One of his trademarks is getting hyped behind the decks & dancing to the music while he’s doing a set. Best of all he has a second nature feel for what crowds want to hear & is a rising DJ star to look out for.
